Belem Cultural Center Foundation Lisbon Portugal
The Belém Cultural Center , designed by architects Vittorio Gregotti and Manuel Salgado, was conceived as an “open city”, consisting of buildings, streets, squares and bridges.
In dialogue with the Tagus River and the monumental Empire Square, flanked by the Jeronimos Monastery and extensive gardens, it celebrates the culture, opening its intense programming to all forms of cultural manifestation.
